Terms and Conditions for the Development and Production of Custom Items

Thank you for considering ESM Euro Synth Machines for your custom project. Before submitting your ideas, please review the following terms and conditions carefully.

Branding Restrictions

  • Proposed devices must not feature logos, model names, or any other branding from third-party companies.

ESM Branding

  • All produced devices will include the ESM name as part of the final design.

Device Model and Dimensions

  • You may name the model of your device.

  • The front panel dimensions can be in any Euro Rack size or within an enclosure.

  • If you choose a different format, the maximum allowable front panel dimensions must be within 19 inches (48.25 cm) in width and 8.75 inches (22 cm) in height.

Submission Review

  • Once you submit your proposal, our team will review the requirements and provide a response within a time frame appropriate to the complexity of your project, including pricing and estimated delivery time.

Revision Options

  • Before finalizing production, we offer one round of revisions to refine your design based on feedback. The following aspects of the design can be adjusted during the revision phase:
    ✅ Functionality – Modifications to features, controls, or performance characteristics.
    ✅ Materials – Selection of components, finishes, or structural elements.
    ✅ Dimensions – Adjustments to size, spacing, or panel layout for better integration.

    🔹 Additional revisions beyond the first round may be subject to extra charges, depending on complexity.

Production Agreement

  • If both parties agree to the terms, production will begin once the agreed price has been paid.

Order Updates

  • We will keep you informed about the progress of your order throughout the development and production process.

Cancellation Policy

  • Before production begins: If a project is canceled, a partial refund may be issued, minus any costs incurred for design, consultation, or material sourcing.

  • After production begins: No refunds will be available, as resources and labor have already been committed.

  • ESM reserves the right to cancel a project and issue a full refund in case of unforeseen issues on our end.

Evaluation Period

  • After the item is delivered, you will have 15 days to evaluate the product. If you are not satisfied with the results, simply return it before the evaluation period expires, and we will issue a full refund.

  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • To be eligible for a return, the device must be in its original condition, free from modifications or significant damage.

Reproduction Rights

  • ESM reserves the right to reproduce and further develop the proposed device, even if it is not approved for production by the customer.

Reward Scheme

  • Clients who submit an idea and accept the final product will receive a reward consisting of 3% of the total sales profit generated from the submitted device only—no other ESM products are included in this reward scheme.

  • Please note that if you return your item for a refund, you will not be entitled to the reward scheme.

Acknowledgment

By submitting your idea, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
